Biografie

Katerina Belkina

1974 in Samara (Russland) geboren. 1989–1993 Kunstakademie, Samara; 2000–2002 Michael-Musorin-Akademie. Seit 2003 freie Fotokünstlerin in Moskau, seit 2013 in Berlin. Ausstellungen weltweit sowie zahlreiche Preise, u. a. 2015 Internationaler Lucas-Cranach-Preis, 2016 Hasselblad Masters Award, PROFIFOTO New Talent Award, alle 1. Preis. In internationalen öffentlichen Sammlungen sowie jährlich bei Sotheby’s vertreten. Gilt als eine der wichtigsten Vertreterinnen moderner russischer Kunst.
